Minor Deviations

  • If minor deviations from Good Laboratory Practice Principles are found then the Inspector should report that the facility is operating in compliance, with assurances that remedial action will be taken.
  • A formal reply to the report from the test facility is expected and may be accepted without further action by the Inspector and the inspection closed.
  • The Good Laboratory Practice compliance monitoring authority will provide a signed formal statement of the inspection to the test facility when satisfied no serious shortcomings exist.
  • Typically, this will contain location of the test facility, types of studies undertaken, and the date of the inspection.
