Introduction

The course provides an introduction to Good Laboratory Practice and is made up of seven learning modules. The course covers the purpose and scope of Good Laboratory Practice, the test facility, the roles of key personnel, government monitoring programmes and study planning, conduct and completion.

  • What is meant by a test facility and an overview of the systems and procedures required
  • What is meant by a study and what must be achieved for a study to comply with these Principles

Judith Elliott, Research Quality Consultant. Judith was a science teacher before moving to the pharmaceutical industry over 25 years ago. She is a recognised expert in the application of Good Laboratory Practice, and has carried out assessments of compliance with the Principles for many organisations worldwide.
