What is a Regulatory Body?
OECD Environment Monograph No. 110 describes a Regulatory Body as:
a national body with legal responsibility for aspects of the control of chemicals
It is usually the case that within the regulatory authority the receiving authority that reviews safety data is separate from the Good Laboratory Practice compliance monitoring authority responsible for the enforcement of Good Laboratory Practice.
