Sponsor
The OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice define Sponsor as an entity which commissions, supports and/or submits a non-clinical health and environmental safety study.
The Sponsor may belong to the same organisation as the test facility, or not as in the case of sub-contracted work.
The Sponsor will provide the general specification for the study.
