Quality Assurance Inspections

Quality Assurance personnel should also verify that the study plan contains the information required for compliance with the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice. This verification should be documented and all records of inspections retained, including an inspection on the final report. See Module 07 for more information on final reports.

The OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice specify that there are three types of Quality Assurance inspections.

Click here to find out what they are:

The three types of Quality Assurance inspections are:

  • Study-based
  • Facility-based
  • Process-based
