Risks, Issues and Actions

Issues may be the result or consequence of a risk. Using our previous example, if it starts to rain during the picnic, an example of an issue is that the rain is making the picnic cloth wet.

Another example of a future known issue, might be, that ‘the car is booked in for a service on the same day as the picnic.’

Actions

Actions are the activities that will be done to control, monitor or resolve risks or issues, such as finding alternative transport, or changing the car service to a different day.
