Why Did we Need the UKSI?
The main achievement of the UKSI 1031 has been to make the requirement for compliance with Good Clinical Practice a legal requirement in the UK.
The UK Government was required to do this by the European Union Clinical Trials Directive 2001/20/EC which is explained more fully in Module 02.
